Washboard Rodeo are huge fans of Louisiana Music Factory. Not only do they have the New Orleans' best selection of music, but they also are an excellent venue for local musicians to share a few tunes throughout the year.
Check out this live Washboard Rodeo recording at the Louisiana Music Factory on May 27, 2010. The songs include Texas in My Soul, written in the '40s by Ernest Tubb and Zeb Turner, and Sadie Green, written by Gilbert Wells and Johnny Dunn; both these songs also appear on the new Washboard Rodeo album. Sandwiched in the middle is Miss Molly, written by Cindy Walker in the early '40s for a western movie featuring Bob Wills and His Texas Playboys.
